(1)

A person who is not a citizen of the United States;

(2)

A person who is less than 18 years of age;

(3)

A person who has not resided in the Northern District of Alabama for a period of one year;

(4)

A person who is unable to read, write and understand the English language with a degree of proficiency sufficient to satisfactorily fill out the juror qualification questionnaire form;

(5)

A person who is unable to speak the English language;

(6)

A person who is incapable of rendering satisfactory jury service by reason of mental or physical infirmity;

(7)

A person who has a charge pending against him or her in a state or federal court of record for the commission of a crime punishable by imprisonment for more than one year;

(8)

A person who has been convicted in a state or federal court of record of a crime punishable by imprisonment for more than one year and his or her civil rights have not been restored.
