Alabama’s State Health Officer has ordered that everyone shall wear a mask or facial covering that covers the nose and mouth at all times when within six feet of a person from another household in any of the following places:  an indoor space open to the general public, vehicle operated by a transportation service, or an outdoor public space where ten or more people are gathered.

We are requiring that everyone wear a mask or face covering while in public or common areas inside all federal courthouse locations in the Northern District of Alabama.  Public or common areas include: entrance areas, lobbies, balconies, public corridors, elevators, restrooms, and courtrooms.  The Jury Administrator/Courtroom Deputy will provide additional information regarding this requirement during jury orientation.
