CLERKSHIP APPLICATIONS: Judge Mooty accepts clerkship applications on a rolling basis after receipt of first semester 1L grades. Please submit a cover letter, law school transcript, resume, and letter(s) of recommendation to mooty_chambers@alnd.uscourts.gov. Clerkship terms are 12 months and begin in August or early September. Please indicate the clerkship term for which you are applying in your email. Alternatively, applicants may apply for the first available clerkship term. Chambers staff will acknowledge receipt of applications and contact applicants to request updated grades and transcript or request additional information, such as a writing sample or interview availability, as needed.
